Any data collected in respect of users and submitting artists via this site will be done so strictly in accordance with GDPR 2018, and will only be used to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of Original-Art-Under100.com
We will never disclose artists’ or buyers’ personal details to third parties, except where we are required to do so by law; or to exercise or defend ours or another’s legal rights; or in an instance where Original-Art-Under100.com is taken over or bought by another company or organisation wishing to maintain the smooth running of the site.
All subscription payments by artists are made securely via Paypal. All card payments made by customers for artwork are done so via an SSL 3D Secure external Sage Pay gateway facility. We do not take or retain payment/credit card details on the site.
As a submitting artist, the information we retain about you is limited to:
- Your name and address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Your biography
- Records of e-mail correspondence between us
- Your payment plan and subscription history
- We will retain this information for up to 6 months following the date your membership lapses with us
As a buyer of artwork from this site, the information we will retain about you is limited to:
- Your name and address
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Records of any e-mail correspondence that might have arisen between us
- We will retain this information for up to 6 months following the date of your purchase
Your Information
We will be happy to send artists and buyers all the information we hold on them. This will either be scanned and emailed, or if requested, a hard copy will be sent via snail mail. Proof of ID/address will be required before we issue the information.
Site Security
- Our access to the website’s database, containing the above limited information, is robustly password protected
- The site is powered by WordPress and we routinely carry out security updates for optimal security
- In the unlikely event of a security breach, we will email effected artists and buyers within 3 working days to advise that the very limited information being held, may have been compromised
