2021 British Art Prize 3rd Place. 2013 Royal Talens Award. 2012 SAA Prize (Society for All Artists). 2012 Artist of the Year Prize-winner. 2011 Liverpool Painting Open Winner. Widely exhibited throughout the U.K, Steve holds a Bachelor of Education, and Master’s degree. Lecturing on a Painting Degree, he teaches drawing and painting. He generally paints from life completing a study in one session. A writer for the arts press, Steve regularly contributes articles to Leisure Painter magazine in the U.K.; indeed, most of the work on this site will have been used to illustrate his many articles.
