Eraclis Aristidou has lived and painted in London all his life. The artist has always been interested in observing city structures expanding and ever changing progress. The interaction of colour shapes and form with ever changing architectural splendour. He observes and paints skyline views of mega city proportions, buildings and city structures, tall towers of modern architectural buildings and tall sky scrapers with glass structures. The old against the new buildings, textures and differing levels colours and tones is what the Artist finds most interesting and how these play against each other. Eraclis paintings of city skyline is used as a reference to colour tones and values which changes according to artistic atheistic and juxtaposition of colours.
