Buli Corby

I am a self taught artist with a background in science, Biology and Oceanography. I originally had a passion for photography and even now I will often use a photograph, usually a landscape or portrait, as a basis for a painting. Many of my earlier works reflected my interest in space/time and topographical distortions although this is less true of my current style. I have been painting for at least 40 years and I now paint almost exclusively with acrylics on canvas board and my work is both eclectic but recognizable. I paint in a variety of genres although recently I have moved into "pop Art" One of the main features of my work is the use of vibrant colours.
