I live in Warrington, in the North West of England. I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember and have always been creative in some form or another. I began to concentrate more on my painting in my later years. I achieved my Foundation Studies in Art and Design - (Graphic Design) as a mature student and spent some time working in computer graphics. I experimented with digital art to design some paintings and my own range of Christmas cards. I have exhibited in art exhibitions in my hometown and surrounding area. I belong to a worldwide group of Christian Artists and also enjoy painting with a local Art Group socially. I love to paint subjects which inspire and challenge me and that also give me immense enjoyment as they evolve and sometimes morph into the paintings they become! Mainly focusing on the natural world, which I love, I have ventured into portraiture from time to time and have achieved a good likeness of my subjects, whether it's the Queen or a field mouse! I also sometimes delve into the abstract and cross the natural with the abstract in my work. My aim is to bring the beauty of God's world into my paintings, with His help, and give joy and enjoyment to the viewer too. I hope you enjoy my work and that it warms your heart enough to want to own it.
