I was inspired to paint these bejewelled London parakeets; they are loud and bold and bring colour to our city. I use loose gestural brush strokes and build up delicate translucent layers that transform into strong colour.

This original painting is painted on 240lb water colour paper with Winsor & Newton professional paints
The piece will be posted flat in an protected in a cello sleeve to keep dry and a purpose bought A3 card backed envelope do not bend marked.
