UluruBy Mark Pender
This is a painting of Uluru (once Ayer's Rock) from a holiday in Australia. This is indeed a spiritual place. It changes with the light and dominates the landscape. It is said that early European artists in Australia found it difficult to capture the light. I originally started to paint this just in acrylic but felt it needed the depth of oil as well.
This is a stretched canvas and is intended to be hung without a frame (fittings attached).
