Trees on Brownsea IslandBy Martin Snee
Brownsea Island sits in the vast natural harbour at Poole in Dorset. It is a nature reserve with no human inhabitants, and has a peaceful and serene beauty. As an island, it has wonderful quality of light, and this is what I have tried to capture in this impressionist view of a group of trees that stand right by the water’s edge.
This is an original acrylic painting on canvas. Size unframed is 9” by 12”
