Tarn Hows - Framed Oil PaintingBy Martin Snee
Share
Tarn Hows is a beautiful little lake to the north of Coniston in the Lake District. There is a really nice walk all the way round, and this is the view from the far end. I used a loose, impressionist style and chose a square format which captures the feeling of looking through the trees that skirt the lake.
This is an oil painting on canvas board, mounted in a hand-made, white inlay frame. The dimensions given include the frame, the picture is 20cm by 20cm.

My love affair with art started a long time ago, way before I first picked up a brush in 1997. Visiting art galleries has always been one of my favour...
