Painted after a recent trip to Venice.
Oil on board. A panoramic view of Venice across the water as seen from the Arsenale district.... as the sun sets behind the Santa Maria Della Salute. The sunlight dances on the water as the buildings in the distance blend in to one tone against the setting sun. The Gondolier silhouette provides the focal point of the painting.
