Storm over WensleydaleBy Martin Snee

I love the Yorkshire Dales, the landscape is stunning, and the weather can be dramatic! This is a view looking west along Wensleydale on an afternoon when the sunlight slanted in to light up the land while the thunderclouds piled up behind.

This is an oil painting on canvas board, painted in a loose impressionist style. The painting would be best framed as the image doesn’t quite reach the edge of the canvas ( see second picture).
