The romantic ruins of a 12th century castle in Dorset, once the home of Sir Walter Raleigh, in a colour palette inspired by mint, chamomile, lavender and rosemary, set off against a dramatic terracotta sky. Painted in acrylics and finished with a gloss varnish. The design continues around the edges of the 4cm deep box canvas.
