Ken Cowins Painted with Passion Ken Cowins was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1955, now working and living in the beautiful county of Dumfries and Galloway. Ken paints very unique art on canvas creating landscapes, he is completely self taught over the past ten years drawing his inspiration from his twenty years as a landscape photographer covering most of the Highlands & Islands of Scotland. Ken's style is both fluid and very dramatic, he is continually learning new methods of working on many surfaces and is looking forward to the future in which ever way his art takes him.
