In 2021, I returned to North Wales. It’s an area I have visited many times, and the landscape is a painters dream. To be honest, the difficulty is not finding a view to paint, it is how to choose out of the many available. However, I was driving north out of Beddgelert when this one stopped me in my tracks. I pulled the car over, got out took a photograph. Sketches and studies followed, and eventually this large oil painting, presented in a antique effect gold frame. Size given includes frame.
