- About Jacqueline Westland
Although the main focus of my painting has been portraiture and figure drawing, I find I am also drawn to intriguing objects and landscape. I love the excitement of beginning new work, to the satisfaction of a finished painting. Whether its ink, oil, charcoal or pastel I love to portray the emotion, form and light within every artwork. I find inspiration from artists such as Euan Uglow, Francis Bacon and Tai-Shan Schierenberg. Group Exhibitions : Paisley Art Institute – 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 & 2011.
