- Artist's description
Highcliffe Nab is a rocky outcrop on the 'Cleveland Way' close to Guisborough, North Yorkshire. Its distinctive orange rocks are evidence of the iron ore in the ground which was mined in this area for many years. The painting is painted in oil with a painting knife on stretched box canvas, so it doesn't need a frame and is ready to hang complete with a matt uv filter varnish. The picture will be posted securely packaged with parcelforce and insurance is included (hence the £10 charge).

- About Cath Little
Cath trained as a teacher but followed a very different career path. However, she recently returned to art with renewed vigour inspired by the energy and changing mood of the nearby North Yorkshire moors and sea shore which features predominantly in her work. She tries to capture how things feel and expresses this in a fairly loose style using knives, rags or anything else she sees useful, so I guess you would describe her style as impressionist.
