Field of TeaselsBy Teresa Tanner
I spotted this field of endless dried teasels cycling back along by the river in Sandwich Kent. There were masses of them standing like soldiers on an area of waste ground just waiting to be painted. I shall return again in the Winter to paint them with their prickly spikes capped with snow or frost. I've used mixed media; oil, ink and watercolour in warm orange and brown hues. Stretched canvas ready to hang 2 cm deep. See more of my art at www.teresatanner.com
