City of ParanoiaBy Mark Pender
I painted this after seeing graffiti reading "City of Paranoia" sprayed onto brickwork outside London Liverpool St station. It seemed to sum up everyone's daily commute and working in the city. I deliberately painted the buildings with no windows and closing in and the perspective was redrawn after realising that "correct" perspectives weren't disturbing enough. This piece is oil on stretched canvas and designed to be hung unframed. I is fitted to hang. Will be posted free of p&p to UK mainland.
