Being lucky to live within a few miles of the seas around the Welsh coast and being a very great lover of all water, painting the sea is irresistible for me. Sometimes the sea is calm and full of light, but on other days the wind is up and waves surge and swell, crest and break, tossing and rolling the small stones of the beach. This painting is the sea at Amroth, on a particularly blustery day - storm Eunice was on the 14th February 2022.
